• Will-Making Assistance - Reimbursement Claim

  • The Seventh-day Adventist Church in the British Union provides financial assistance towards the cost of preparing a will through a suitably regulated solicitor.

    Eligible members who have not previously received assistance under this scheme may claim reimbursement of up to £200 for an individual will or £250 for mirror wills (two separate wills, usually for a couple).

    The member should arrange and pay the solicitor directly. Once the will has been prepared, this form can be used to submit a reimbursement claim.

    Please note: The decision about the contents of your will, including whether or not to leave a gift to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, is entirely your own. Leaving a gift to the Church is not a condition of receiving assistance under this scheme. The Church does not provide legal advice about what you should include in your will. Your solicitor should advise you on the preparation and contents of your will.
